MY mission is to champion global health by advocating for equitable access to healthcare, with a specific focus on improving maternal and fetal health outcomes. i AM ALSO committed to empowering communities and ensuring that every mother and child receives the care they need to thrive. Additionally, we believe in the transformative power of education and dedicated to providing educational opportunities to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, empowering them to build healthier futures for themselves and their communities."
About me
Hi, my name is Benedicta Agbonor I am a second year student at the University of Connecticut majoring in Allied Health Science. I plan to go to medical school after my four years at UCONN. I am very passionate about fostering a diverse medical field hence why I want to a medical doctor. I feel as though everyone, despite their gender, race, religion, and socioeconomic status should have the opportunity to be treated with exceptional care especially by others that look like them
Resilience: The ability to bounce back from setbacks, learn from failures, and stay focused and motivated during challenging times.
Group Qualities
Empathy: Understanding and empathizing with the needs, feelings, and perspectives of others, and fostering a supportive and compassionate group culture.

Leadership Philosophy
Democratic Leadership- Democratic leadership is important because it promotes inclusivity and participation, allowing members to have a voice in decision-making processes. This style fosters collaboration, empowers individuals, and encourages creativity and innovation within the group. It also builds trust and commitment among members, leading to higher motivation, satisfaction, and overall group performance.
Transformative Leadership - Transformational leadership is crucial because it inspires and motivates individuals to go beyond their self-interests and work towards collective goals. By fostering a shared vision and empowering team members, transformational leaders can drive innovation, improve performance, and create a positive organizational culture. Their focus on developing and mentoring others helps build strong teams capable of adapting to change and achieving long-term success.

I Want to continue my EDucation right now i’m looking to get my masters degree in Public health with a concentration with global health/PUBLIC policy OR PURSUE A MD/pHD With the Phd focused on PUBLIC pOLICY
